R.I.P MACHO MAN!!

Yep, as many of you know, and sadly, professional wrestler "Macho Man" Randy Savage, whose real name is Randy Mario Poffo, died in a car accident yesterday. He was only 58 years old.

Now, many of you are saying well pro wrestlers don't live to be over 50 years old well so what. Yeah, his time was cut short at 58 but I believe that Randy Savage will go down as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He was one of my favorite professional wrestlers growing up and pretty much something you tend to remember growing up and watching during my childhood. Here is a little bit of his bio.

He had held over 20 championships with certain organizations but his time in the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) when it was the WWF (World Wrestling Federation) and with WCW (World Championship Wrestling) is what many would remember him by. He was manged by his real life wife Miss Elizabeth, whom he was married to from 1984-1992. She sadly died in 2003.

Macho Man and Elizabeth

Also, he had a very distinct raspy kind of voice that people can tell from his interviews and promos. Many of the interviews and promos he gave were kind of out there but they were great. His character was never bland or didn't try to be as you can take a view here.

That was great. He always wore either head bands or cowboy hats with sunglasses and had a cool beard.  He was knowm too for his catchpharse ":OOOO YEAH!!!And always when you hear "Pomp and Circumstance” play at a graduation you always thought of the Macho Man!!

Despite all that is describe the Macho Man, he was also a great wrestler due to his athletic background as a professional baseball player when he bounced around in the minor leagues before follow in his brother's and father's footsteps and became a professional wrestler. He had many great matches with Ric Flair, The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibease, and he even made Hulk Hogan and the Ulitmate Warrior look good when he wrestled them which that in itself is hard to do. His Wrestlemania 3 match with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat is said by many to be one of the greatest matches of all time. One of my best or you would say scariest memories of the Macho Man was during his feud with Jake "The Snake" Roberts when Jake Roberts attacked the Macho Man and tied him in the ropes and pulled out a corba which bit his arm

Wow, in that you had people turn away and kids crying, but the snake was devenomized and it made for a great story line. After WCW went under in 2001 Savage stopped wrestling but still was able to do other things such as have his own rap album. Yep you have to hear a song on YouTube to believe

star in movies like Spiderman!!!

Bonesaw is READY!!
Savage was also great when it came to charity organizations and was proudly the spokesman for Slim Jim!!!

A lot of wrestlers had twittered on their thoughts of the loss of Randy Savage, including Hulk Hogan whom he had a love/hate friendship with Savage because Macho Man blammed Hogan for the divorce of him and Elizabeth but were on speaking terms again before Savage of course died. Which brings me to my next point. Why won't Vince McMahon allow Macho Man Randy Savage to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Here's an article that was posted 13 days before Savage died

http://www.examiner.com/fight-sports-in-national/more-details-behind-the-randy-macho-man-savage-feud-with-vince-mcmahon

Whenever or not that's was true in the article remains to be seen. I think that when Randy Savage left the WWE he took the Slim Jim advertising with him to WCW which was a lot of money that could be one reason epsecially since WWE was in competition with WCW at the time. But, time has passed and I think for Vince McMahon to do something honorable to the fans and especially to the legacy of the Macho Man is to allow him to take his rightful place with the another wrestling legends and be able to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

And that to quote the Macho Man is something when can all "DIG IT" OOOOOO YEAH!!!

I'm D-Money and that's my Two Cents!!
