Who to cheer for in Super Bowl XLVI

Well, now after another NFL season we come down to the best 2 teams meeting in less than 2 weeks in Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI (that's number 46 for those who don't know roman numerals). Those two teams are the New England Patriots (AFC Champs) vs the New York Giants (NFC Champs). Now if you like me aren't a crazy fan of either team but just want to watch the game because lets face it the Super Bowl in itself is a media show. With all the activities that leadup to the game itself and pregame festivities, halftime show, and advertising the game gets blown out of hand. Speaking of advertising Super Bowl Commericials are almost fun to watch as the game itself.  I'll post some of my favorite Super Bowl Commercials I'll probably find on YouTube in my next blog post.
Back to the topic, who to casually root for in the game. For me I'm going to be looking at this from an Ohio State Fan prospective and cheer for the team that has the most former Buckeyes on it. I've looked at both rosters and found that there is nobody on the New England Patroits roster that is a former Buckeye. To add on to that their quarterback is of course Tom Brady!! :P
There is one of him in action and the other with his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen. Now I admit reading his biography Brady had to work real hard to achieve what he had accomplished but Buckeye fans doesn't it make your blood boil a little bit that this man went to Michigan. You just love to hate Tom Brady for all of this. I mean he is already guaranteed a head bust in Canton at the Pro Football Hall of Fame for leading the Patroits to 3 Super Bowl Wins and getting MVP and great QB stats. Those reasons alone plus there are no Buckeyes on the team is why I'm not rooting for the Patriots.

Now, the New York Giants. At one point they almost didn't even make it to the playoffs. They were 7-7 and had to beat the Jets and the Cowboys to win the NFC East to make it which they did. Ending up killing the Atlanta Falcons 24-2, upsetting the defending Super Bowl Champions Green Bay Packers 37-20, and beating a very stout San Francisco 49ers team 20-17 in overtime to get to the Super Bowl. There are 2 Former Ohio State Buckeyes on the team, offensive lineman Jim Cordle, and Tight End Jake Ballard who has become a surprise this season and become the 3rd leading receiver behind Hakeem Hicks and Victor Cruz.
Jake Ballard with an amazing TD Catch
Well whomever you root for this seems to be a great matchup between 2 teams whom have met before 4 years ago in Super Bowl 42 when Eli Manning drove the Giants down the field to a game winning score to win 17-14 and the biggest plays of the game happened on Manning's pass to David Tyree.

I'm not a fan of either team but since I don't want Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Tom Brady to win another Super Bowl and it would be cool to see Jake Ballard get a ring for the Giants. I hope the game is great to watch and the commercials will be better to watch this year. Can't say the same for the Halftime show, Madonna is performing my suggestion is to turn to something else for 20 minutes before the game comes back on.
That's my two cents!!!
